One man's extraordinary impact on the world

Sigmund Freud had a profound impact on Western culture and thinking, despite the unscientific nature of much of his work.

Co-founder and Headmaster of Hampton Court House, Guy Holloway, will outline Freud's key theories assuming no prior knowledge. He will argue for the inherent readability of Freud – the writing as provocative and vital as the day it was written.

And for anyone interested in childhood development (and that is surely every parent and teacher), Freud is impossible to ignore, even if we reject some, much, or all of his thinking. Whatever one thinks, Freud certainly paved the way for others to develop their own psychodynamic theories as to how a child develops.
