WHAT sweeter music can we bring
than a carol for to sing
the birth of this our Heavenly King?
Awake the voice! Awake the string!
— A Christmas Carol by Robert Herrick (1591-1674)

A festive celebration for all the family
at Hampton Court House

Join us at Hampton Court House for a Family Christmas Fayre on Sunday 11 December from 10.00am. Pupils, parents, grandparents, teachers and friends are all welcome to enjoy a festive celebration including a crafts market, exhibitions, games and carols around the fire. Admission is free for all.

Christmas craft market

We are looking for creators of hand-made jewellery, accessories, paintings and crafts. If you are interested (or if you know someone who is) in exhibiting at the Christmas market, please contact Martine Porchet on hch-xmas@outlook.com by the end of November. Participants from Form Seven creative courses will have the opportunity to showcase their work.

Food, drink and fun

Throughout the day, seasonal food and drink will be available, including home-made mince pies, hot chocolate and mulled wine. Profits will go towards the Little Friends of HCH. Furthermore, there will be games, craft activities and a fun family photo booth. Pupils from the school choir will be leading carol singing around the fireplace in the main hall throughout the day.

Cookery workshops for all the family

Emmanuelle Liebert, tutor of the Autumn Flavours Form Seven courses, will be running three short family cookery workshops where you and your children can learn together how to prepare delicious festive treats. The workshops are £15 for adults and free for children; pre-booking for the workshops is highly recommended as places are limited.
